And Boston Gay Pride should be interesting yet again!  I just don't get how Frito-Lay is going to have a gay/lesbian oriented float in the parade??  With Melissa Etheridge as one of the marshals!

How are you going to celebrate Gay Pride Month???

Laconia - Band members of local bluesy-favorite “Kelley Morris & The Fallen Free” are hosting the Second Annual Freedom Festival Saturday June 6th 2009 INDOORS rain-or-shine at The Leavitt Park Clubhouse on Elm Street in
Lakeport NH. Show starts at 5pm and tickets are $10 at the door. Several great music acts are lined up to perform this year including: Michelle Ribeiro, The Last House Band, Max Sullivan and The Chris White Band. In addition, “Kelley Morris & the Fallen Free” will debut new songs from

This year’s list of non-profit groups includes: The Laconia Police anti-drug campaign, Horizons Counseling Centers’ new
“Partners-in-Recovery” Project sign-ups, Genesis Counseling Group, The Lakes Region Chapter of PFLAG, Webster Place Recovery Center and teen author and abuse survivor Maggie Drew.

This alcohol-free event is intended to be inclusive and welcomes everybody. Children, families and the elderly alike are all encouraged to attend. Free face-painting will be available and kids aged 12 and under are free. The event is wheelchair accessible. Snacks and light refreshments will be available.
